The gracious Ginger will be Heritage Line’s new vessel cruising the Lan Ha Bay, which is a tranquil part of the famous Halong Bay in Vietnam. Ginger hosts only 12 large suites, all naturally light-flooded and with well-sized balcony. There will be two Regent Suites in the highest room category. Additional four Signature Suites and six Junior Suites complete the suite only vessel. Ginger expresses her elegance with warm timber floors, marble bathrooms and distinguished design themes that interlace the long-lasting traditions of Northern Vietnam paired with contemporary accents.

Ginger’s uniqueness is expressed with a special culinary theme as well as a refreshing lifestyle atmosphere. The terrace deck is a marvelous public area. Welcome aboard of Heritage Line in the serene waters of Lan Ha Bay, the still so unknown extension of Halong Bay. Lan Ha Bay stretches almost all around the eastern coast line – from the northern to the southern tip – of Cat Ba island, which is the largest island in this area. Discover with us the wondrous scenery of quiet waters dotted with limestone pillars and tiny islets cladded with forest vegetation rising from the emerald sea of the Gulf of Tonkin. DAY 1: HANOI – LAN HA BAY (L,D)

7:00 – 8:00 Tour guide will come to pick you up at suggested places around Old Quarter for Lan Ha bay.
12:30 Embark at Cai Beo habor, Cat Ba Island. Transferred by tender to the Emerald Cruise.
Greeted by crew members followed by welcome drinks, get cruise briefing and check in cabin.
13:00 Savor lunch on board while cruise heads to center of Lan Ha Bay.
15:00 Explore Dark & Bright Cave by kayak or bamboo boat and go for swimming in nearby area. Come back to cruise later to enjoy sun set party and cooking class.
18:00 BBQ dinner will be served on the beach (Depend on current weather)
19:15 Back to Halong Ginger Cruise. Enjoy free time on your own with karaoke singing or try your luck with squid fishing…

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – HANOI (B, BRUNCH)

07:00 Enjoy a new day with complimentary tea and coffee served for light breakfast on board
07:45 Ride the bicycle through the forest to Viet Hai Village (5km). Take a short trek through the forest. Go back to habor by bicycle.
10:00 Check out your cabin. Enjoy the view while Emerald cruise heads back to Cat Ba town.
10:30 Brunch will be served on board.
12:00 Disembark Ben Beo Habor. Say good bye to Lan Ha Bay, we start to go back to Hanoi.
16:00 Tour guide drops you back at your hotel. Tour ends

Children Policy

One child under 5 years stays free of charge using existing beds.
One child from 5 to 12 years is charged 25 % of the adult cost when using existing beds.
One child from 5 to 12 years is charged 30 % of the adult cost when using extra bed.
One older child or adult is charged 70 % of adults the cost and using extra bed.

Cancellation policy

Services are cancelled by the clients

In case the clients for any reasons cancel the trip, the following fees should be paid:

More than 25 days prior to check-in No cancellation charge
From 25 to 10 days prior to check-in 20% of total price
From 10 to 4 days prior to check-in 50% of total price
3 days prior to check-in or No-show 100% of total price

Services are cancelled by Ginger Cruises

According to the Ha Long Bay Management Board final decision, the cruise trip could be postponed, shortened or cancelled due to unexpected bad weather, including storm/ typhoon (summer), cyclone, thunder storm, foggy days (winter), monsoon (winter)… In this case, clients will be refunded the total sum of booked services. Should there are any rising services during that time, clients will pay basing on the actual amount.
